Yesterday I had the oppurtunity to make a presentation on Kalam to Asha for Education (Seattle Chapter) – a non-profit, voluntary organization dedicated to creating social and economic change in India through education. Asha supports various education organizations and programs (formal and non-formal, urban and rural) throughout India. Last evening, I shared Kalam’s program and activites with Asha in hopes of gaining their support for our work through this coming year.
Asha has a very thorough and comprensive process in selecting and approving programs to support in India. Good news is that we’ve been successfuly voted through the first phase of approvals, and we are on to the second round.
Moving forward and making allies, step by step.
